Wandering the streets of Palm Beach, searching for treasures and treats

I’m a Florida girl at heart, attending Furman University for communication studies. My passion is public relations. I try to live each day to it’s fullest: cooking the yummiest foods my little dorm kitchen can allow and going on all the adventures a students’ schedule can fit. When I’m at home for breaks, you can always find me at the beach or savoring the local restaurant fare. No matter where I am or what I am doing, good taste and class are always my favorite accessories.

About this Blog

College campus dining is about what you make of it, and Furman is no exception | Shi Center Sustainability

Life is too short to eat bad food. Plagued by a busy schedule, it seems nearly impossible to find something healthy and delicious to eat. This blog presents snippets of my journey to finding the best options that college campus dining services can offer. You are lying to yourself if you are content with dining hall pizza for your daily meal. I hope to inspire Furman students to look at the dining hall offerings as a starting point – from which you can create anything. I hope to share the campus dining options that are frequently overlooked. There is no excuse to eat anything that is less than excellent, even as a college student.
